Community cloud is a software network that enables a community of many organisations to exchange the knowledge and access applications and services. It is owned, managed and operated by one or more community organizations, a third party, or a combination of those organizations.

Advantages of Community Cloud

Community Cloud comes with the following advantages –

Community cloud is cost effective because multiple organizations or a community share the entire cloud.

The community cloud is scalable and versatile as it is compliant with every user. This allows the users to change the files according to their requirements and needs.

Community cloud is safer than the public cloud but less secure than the private cloud itself.

Community cloud provides us with the opportunity to share cloud resources , infrastructure and other capabilities among different organisations.

Disadvantages of Community Cloud

Community Cloud have the following disadvantages-

  4. Public Cloud is pricey relative to public cloud.
  5. It is difficult to share responsibilities between organisations.
